Sabrina Schmid
is a researcher working in the field of medieval textile arts and book culture, which is also the topic of her PhD project at the University of Zurich. After studying Art History and History at the Universities of Zurich and Sapientia (Rome), she was an intern at the Kunstmuseum Bern and Museum Schnütgen (Cologne). After this, she worked as a junior curator at the Historisches Museum Basel. She was especially involved in the international exhibition on the consecration of Basel Cathedral in 1019, shown at the Kunstmuseum Basel with the title “Gold and Glory – Gifts for Eternity.” Before she joined the current project in November 2020, she was a starter scholar at the Basel Graduate School of History.
