The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) funded research project “Textures of Sacred Scripture. Materials and Semantics of Sacred Book Ornament in the Western Middle Ages, 780-1300” at the Chair of Medieval Art History of the University of Zurich invites to a three-day workshop on conservation, repair, and care of art in the Middle Ages. The workshop is primarily aimed at PhD students, and will provide an opportunity to present and discuss current research projects.
